Homily Podcast Coming Back Online

Posted by: tony on 01/13/2009 02:34 AM (Read: )
After a hectic end of 2009, the homilies are going to come back online starting with last Sunday. Each week I'll try and put that week's homily and one of the previous up until they are all caught up.

So now you homily junkies can enjoy more of Fr. Bourgeois' homilies.

Bulletins Have Been Sporadic

Posted by: tony on 11/05/2006 04:31 PM (Read: )
Well, non-existant since 9/23/06. I am in contact with the bulletin company, and I'm trying to set something up that will be more reliable for both them and us.

Update: The bulletin company contacted me. They claimed that they kept getting bounced on my e-mails from an old address. They claim to have corrected it. We'll see Thursday.

Mea Culpa and Request for Assistance

Posted by: tony on 09/09/2006 05:59 PM (Read: )
Mea culpa, mea maxima culpaYou may have noticed that bulletin entries have not been sufficiently up to date. I am totally at fault with this one. I have not been dedicating the time I should to keeping up the site.

So I'm asking for help.

I would like to dedicate my skills to the technical aspects of this site. In other words, keeping the scripts up to date, programming new functionality, improving the design, etc.

This having been said, I'd like to turn over the content updating duties to one or more dedicated Blessed Sacrament parishioners. There currently isn't a big time requirement. It's about 10 minutes a week (at least for the bulletins). Other assorted duties, such as posting the Parish Council minutes, and helping the ministries maintain their sections of the website might take a little longer, but they would be on a per-needed basis, and I'd always be willing to help in a pinch.

The technical skills requirements are minimal. You would just need to be able to type. Buttons are available on the input form to do all kinds of embellishment. I also would be happy (no, ecstatic) to train you and help you along.

If you are interested, you can contact me by clicking on my handy, dandy, spam-proof feedback form link (and I'll be happy to show you how to create one; it's easy) or you can grab me after mass some weekend.
